Borderlands Game of the Year Edition

Borderlands Game of the Year Edition 2K Games has today announced plans to release a game of the year edition of their hit role-playing shooter Borderlands.

The Borderlands: Game of the Year edition will come with tokens that will allow gamers to download previously released add-ons The Armory of General Knoxx, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot and The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned as well as the recently announced Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution. In addition a complete and comprehensive map of the Borderlands territories.

Each of the already released DLC add-ons as well as the upcoming one can be purchased on Xbox Live for 800 Microsoft points and the PlayStation Network and PC for $9.99 each so for those of you who have yet to pick up Borderlands you may want to wait and just purchase the Game of the Year edition for $59.99 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions and $49.99 for the PC.

Gamers can expect to see the Game of the Year edition of Borderlands on October 12th, 2010.
