For those wanting to see Kratos fighting the gods again, they may see Kratos sooner than they think, as hints of a pending God War IV release have once again cropped up on an online resume and a sneak peak of UK’s PSM3 magazine.
This week, the unexpected sequel, got spotted listed as an imminent project on a resume, which belongs to composer Timothy Williams, whose previous work includes penning music for Defense of the Ancients 2 and Rise of the Argonauts; as well as movies like Watchmen, Sucker Punch, and Conan the Barbarian.
God of War IV was also discovered in a preview of PSM3′s January 2012 issue, in which it is, believed that the Kratos and his sibling may work together. The rumor talks about a (possibly) dead Kratos and (very) dead brother Deimos working together in an effort to escape the afterlife.
No one can confirm if the information are true or not, but this is not the first time PSM3 has announced the fourth coming of Kratos. Last spring, the magazine forecasted Sony Santa Monica would hit shelves after September 2012. Mentions of online play that features dead siblings or otherwise—also appeared in a 2011 job posting, which seeks a senior online programmer to “Join the God of War team!”. The said programmer is going to be responsible for “designing and implementing systems and tools to support networking needs (such as in-game communication, client-server, match-making, leaderboards).
