Lost Planet 2 is a third person shooting video game developed and published by Capcom. This game as actually the sequel version to the Lost Planet: Extreme Condition that taking place ten years after the events of the first game and on the same fictional planet. The story takes place back on E.D.N. III 10 years after the events of the first game.

Which all the snow has started to be fully melted to reveal jungles and more tropical areas that have taken the place of more frozen regions. The game will be center on an ongoing war to gain T-ENG which called also as Thermal Energy. Players will assume to be taken control of several different factions such as Yuri’s Snow Pirates, NEVEC which called also as Neo Venus Construction and many other groups battling the Akrid, another race of large insects native to E.D.N. III. The Akrid have expanded their armies and return much more powerful in this sequel version.

In this version, there will be as usual having campaign and multiplayer game mode. As in campaign mode, it allows the players to complete the campaign with 3 online companions and also the AI bots. Furthermore, there will be more boss battles in the game which all the bosses are larger in size compare to the first series of Lost Planet.

In Lost Planet 2, it will be split into six episodes in the campaign which each will be containing its own story and hero that all will come together at the conclusion of the game. Lastly, the campaign experience itself will change accordingly based on the players’ actions in the game. As in the multiplayer mode, it had featuring an online multiplayer mode that will be able to support up to a 16 player versus mode and 4 player cooperative mode.
