This third-person action game is a great open-world adventure for anyone with an appetite for destruction.Red Faction: Guerrilla was a third person shooter video game that being developed by Volition, Inc and published by THQ. It was then only released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 user. In the Red Faction: Guerrilla, the player will takes the role of a Alec Mason as he assisting the Red faction to do some disruption and overthrow the Earth Defense Force on Mars. This was been presented to the player in a third person perspective which a departure from the series.

Eventually the game play was in an open world which representing the terra formed area of Mars’ surface. The world was then divided into six distinct areas and the player is compulsory to free each area form EDF control before moving on to the next level. The player can traverse on foot or by hijacking one of the numerous vehicles that able to travel on its surface. At the same time, player cans also completing the various side missions such as rescueing the hostages and delivering vehicles. Player may also being rewarded with salvage for completing those tasks. As for the Multiplayer mode, it uses up the similar role playing elements that been introduced in the Battlefield 2 game.

As the player engages in more matches and they will able to gain more experience points that will sooner or later grant them bonuses. Those superficial bonuses that been gave out as option was such as altering aspects of their player emblem and have no impact on the game. Other bonuses that granting to the players was to be able on accessing the additional game play modes. Along with online multiplayer, there is an offline only “pass the controller” multiplayer game mode for two to four players called “Wrecking Crew”. Wrecking Crew features several different modes, all of which are based around causing as much damage by oneself in each round with a set amount of resources.
