Sony boss Chris Deering daringly claimed that Sony’s Playstation2, which is currently being surpassed by Nintendo Wii, will have more active users than any other home gaming consoles by 2011. All platforms will have a total of 2.5billion gamers by that time, the man claimed at the Edinburgh’s Interactive Festival. He had also predicted that PS2 will have 90million users while Wii will be second with 80million, followed by PS3 at 70million and XBox 360 at 40 million.
