The Another World is a role playing video game from the Japanese developer Level -5 and anime Studio Ghibli. It was one of the games developed for the Nintendo DS gaming console. However, this was still the first video game development by the Studio Ghibli’s the director Hayao Miyazaki.

The game play for this game will be require the player to act as Oliver to takes part in the battles using the magic book given to him by the Shuzuku. The magic book eventually as usual will be containing various spells that are activated while using drawing with the stylus of the Nintendo DS. During the battle on going, players will be able to arrange their characters at anywhere located at the bottom of the screen to implement various tactics.

As for example, a character that can block certain attacks can be placed in front of the others to shield them. The game will also include a booklet that is supposed to represent the magic book from the game and is required to play the game. In the booklet itself, player will be able to find a bestiary, which were a short story that offer the game some hints and other information that the game will referring to.
